- 500 grams Chicken, pieces mein kaata hua
- 2 bade pyaaz, bareek kate huye
- 2 tamatar, bareek kate huye
- 2-3 hari mirch, bareek kati huyi
- 1 tablespoon adrak lehsun ka paste
- 1/2 teaspoon haldi (turmeric) powder
- 1 tablespoon lal mirch (red chili) powder
- 1 teaspoon dhaniya (coriander) powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon jeera (cumin) powder
- 1/2 teaspoon hing (asafoetida)
- 1 teaspoon kasuri methi
- 2 tablespoon dahi (yogurt)
- 2 tablespoon tel (oil)
- Namak swad anusar
- 1 kadai ya bade pan mein garam tel

1. Sabse pehle, kadai ya bade pan mein tel garam karein. Tel garam hone par usme hing daalein.
2. Ab usme pyaaz daalein aur unko halka bhura hone tak bhunein.
3. Bhune pyaaz mein adrak lehsun ka paste daalein aur sauté karein jab tak tel alag na ho jaaye.
4. Ab tamatar daalein aur unko naram hone tak pakayein.
5. Tamatar naram ho jaane par masale dalna shuru karein. Iske liye haldi powder, lal mirch powder, dhaniya powder, jeera powder aur namak daalein. Sare masale achhe se milayein.
6. Masalon mein dahi daal kar mix karein aur dahi ko acchi tarah se masalon mein milayein.
7. Ab chicken ke tukde daal kar use acchi tarah se masalon se cover karein.
8. Chicken ko medium aanch par pakayein, aise 10-15 minutes tak ya jab tak chicken paka na ho jaye. Sath hi sath chicken ko bar-bar hilate rahein taki wo jala na ho.
9. Chicken pakne ke baad hari mirch aur kasuri methi daal kar acchi tarah mix karein.
10. Aakhri mein garam masala aur thoda sa tel daal kar mix karein. Dhyaan rahe, garam masala ko jyada mat daalein, warna swaad thoda teekha ho sakta hai.
11. Ab kadai chicken ko dhak kar 5-10 minutes ke liye dheemi aanch par pakayein, taki masale ka swaad acchi tarah se chicken mein sama sake.
12. Dhyan rahe ki kadai chicken mein paani nahi daalna hai, kyunki chicken apne ras se hi paka hua hai.
